Course Description

Educators will discover strategies and develop skills to deal with their
to-do lists, incoming/outgoing communication and papers and piles.  Participants will:

  • learn the most successful and effective time management practices designed specifically for educators,
  • learn how to create an information flow system that decreases stress and increases productivity, and
  • learn how to support and facilitate the development of these skills in their students.

If participants implement the majority of the strategies that are presented they will:

  • have greater control over their information flow and respond more proactively and effectively to incoming/outgoing communications,
  • have more control of their calendar and their to-do lists and be able to effectively prioritize tasks and activities,
  • be better able to identify individual differences and approaches to time and support their students skill development

What past participants have to say...

I enjoyed this class greatly.  It helped me realized that I needed to prioritize my schedule.  Getting together with other educators and discussing common problems was both rewarding and informative.  I am not alone!
Carol Mazurek, Mt. Marion

This is the best in-service I have ever taken!  Finally a class I can use for all aspects of my life.  A big bang for the buck!  I’m excited with all this new knowledge that will save me time.  You are the greatest! Keep up the great work!
Bridget Choubah, Pleasant Valley

Everyone can use a class like this!
Ada Operowsky, PCSD

I found this course useful and worthwhile, because the ideas presented are research-tested and work for people! I hope and plan to put many of them to work fro me.  I like the idea of the “mind sweep” and plan to use it every week.  Also, I hope to be able to organize my e-mail more efficiently since I have close to 200 still in my in-box.  Thank you for the good ideas.
Kathy, New Paltz

I found the techniques I learned helpful to my job and my home life.  I learned how to get done the “important” things and still have time for me.
